Hi All,

I have a Powerpoint presentation that pulls data from a worksheet from excel into it.
I have tried the embedded option with update link ticked.
I have managed to get the embedded object to auto update with no problems.
The issue arises when I have another workbook open that is used regular.
When anything else on the same pc is used the slideshow in kiosk mode freezes at the slide it is on and has to be manually started again.
Is there anyway to make the powerpoint keep running and update from the excel workbook without it freezing when anything else is done on the pc?

I have tried several different ways around this with google and this forum's help but can't seem to get it to do what I want.

Any help on this would be appreciated.
I know that ppt is different vba coding to excel and I think this is where I am struggling.
Hope the above makes sense.

Copy formula down without changing references
If you have =SUM(F2:F49) in F50; type Alt+' in F51 to copy =SUM(F2:F49) to F51, leaving the formula in edit mode. Change SUM to COUNT.
