Can anyone tell me a way to make the lines in a report numbered. The report is based on a query and I would like the records numbered in the report.

1. Bob
2. Bill
3. John
4. Etc..

Thanks

Greg

Using a mouse in Excel is the work equivalent of wearing a lanyard when you first get to college
From google:

Put a textbox with "ControlSource" = 1 and
"RunningSum"=OverAll in the detail section of the report.

Thanks. It half worked, but I was able to figure it out from there. I remembered something about a running sum, but couldn't remember the property or where it was.
