Hi All,

I am hoping someone could help me. I have some data that I have plotted the averages of as a line graph:

My supervisors would like me to add whiskers/error bars based on the range from the data:

B-SCIR-SCSC-IRSC-B
Initial InoculumAverage: 7.95E+07
Range: 7.90E+07 - 8.00E+07
Average: 7.95E+07
Range: 7.90E+07 - 8.00E+07
Average: 7.95E+07
Range: 7.90E+07 - 8.00E+07
Average: 7.95E+07
Range: 7.90E+07 - 8.00E+07
Primary BrothAverage: 2.80E+07
Range: 2.60E+07 - 3.00E+07
Average: 2.97E+08
Range: 2.60E+07- 1.00E+08
Average: 1.67E+08
Range: 1.31E+08 - 2E+08
Average: 1.67E+08
Range: 1.31E+08 - 2E+08
Secondary BrothAverage: 5.87E+09
Range: 5.49E+09 - 6.25E+09
Average: 5.29E+09
Range: 4.38E+09 - 6.21E+09
Average: 3.08E+08
Range: 1.13E+08 - 4.38E+08
Average: 1.81E+08
Range: 9.38E+07 -2.50E+08

I've been trying to do this for a couple of weeks, but when I add the error bars and change the values to custom fixed numbers, the minimum bars go below 1E+6, which is not anyway above at all. I even looked at using R but just couldn't get my head around it...

Many Thanks,

Jon

Whats the difference between CONCAT and CONCATENATE?
The newer CONCAT function can reference a range of cells. =CONCATENATE(A1,A2,A3,A4,A5) becomes =CONCAT(A1:A5)
