Line Break not working in cell any suggestions

Hello,

I am trying to Learn how to use line breaks and text wrapping to create a single cell that contains two lines of text. I found out that you use ALT+Enter, but it is not working. Any suggestions? I am using 2007.

Welcome to the board!

Alt + Enter should create a new line within a cell in Excel 2007. If you start typing some text into a cell then press Alt + Enter it should move to a new line within the cell.

This might be a strange question, but why are you trying to learn how to do this.

Having 2 separate pieces of data in one cell is not a good idea.

Next thing you'll be wanting to look into merged cells.
