hi all

i have been assigned to build a rent/lease database

our shops have rent agreements that depend on a minimum guaranteed rent, but if their revenues exceed a certain amount, they pay a certain percentage of their revenue, but the percentages vary per sales type, eg. tobacco, food/drink, phone cards

any hoo...

i'm just wondering what is the best way to do a time sensitive database with [rent start] and [rent finish] fields and [rent per food&drink] sort of thing

ta in advance

Excel Facts

Lock one reference in a formula
Need 1 part of a formula to always point to the same range? use $ signs: $V$2:$Z$99 will always point to V2:Z99, even after copying
We can probably answer questions that are a lot more specific, but this is pretty broad.

Can you narrow it down?
Where are you having problems?

Do you have any existing data?

If you do then I'll have a look at it.
