Hi -
I have the excel fundamentals down, and trying to expand on what i already know. I have and refer to a few different books for help, but am really looking for excel learning projects/examples/"jobs". Without projects to work on, it is hard to keep the skills up. Can anyone suggest learning projects and sample data. Any books, downloads, anything would be a great help.

What is the shortcut key for Format Selection?
Ctrl+1 (the number one) will open the Format dialog for whatever is selected.
Assuming you have an occupation the easiest thing is to pick up and try and improve existing spreadsheets that yourself or colleagues are using. As you learn more you can usually revisit old workbooks and improve the way things are done. If it's VBA that you are wanting to learn then the biggest wins you can get is automating repetitive tasks that someone is spending hours doing and see if you can get it down to a couple of clicks and few minutes.
