Does anyone use Cognos Analyst? I use it at work (only pulling data from it, not inputting), but I don't really understand the mechanics of it. I've been caught out a couple of times by the priority of a calculation being set wrong, which seems to mean that data is right in the top level cube, but appears wrong in the cube that feeds into it. Which messes with my mind. So I'm thinking that maybe if I understood a bit more about it, I wouldn't spend time pulling rubbish data.

What's the best way to learn about it? Anyone good stuff online or book recommendations?

Do you hate GETPIVOTDATA?
Prevent GETPIVOTDATA. Select inside a PivotTable. In the Analyze tab of the ribbon, open the dropown next to Options and turn it off
