I would start with Power Query

Mike Girvin just started on YouTube some great videos: Power Tools for Data Analysis

You can also buy "M is for Data Monkey" book and "Power Query for Excel and Power BI" by Chris Webb


Once you are comfortable with Power Query, you can start learning Power Pivot & DAX

Analyzing Data with Power Bi and Power Pivot for Excel

Definitive Guide to DAX

these are just a few great books, there are of course more. You can also buy them from Mr Excel store, the e books come in 3 formats (kindle, pdf, and iPad format) which is very handy


it will take you months to really grasp the concepts as you start using these tools, I would build a solid foundation of Power Query and DAX before starting to make Charts

When you start making charts, I would advise you to also start reading Stephen Few books, Storytelling with Data they are not about Power BI tools but about Data Visualization in General, you will learn that just putting a few charts together is not enough

The topic is vast, so get comfortable and enjoy the ride
