This is cool! Use "AverageIf" to get a Dynamic Floating Bracket!

Dave from Florida has a great little workbook to show off today! Dave tallies up annual physical exam statistics for area Fire Departments - which include pushups. In working with the stats, Dave can't reasonably compare a 20 year olds performance to a 49 year olds performance, so -using inherent functions of Excel -- he found an interesting way to work with and present these statistics. Follow along with Bill in Episode #1585 to see Dave's method and the product of his work.

Learn Excel Podcast, Better Move Rows.
Hey. Welcome back to the MrExcel netcast. I'm Bill Jelen.
Today, a tip sent in by David J. Back in episode 1512, I was trying to figure out different ways to move entire rows and David J. sent in this better method, and this is funny.
I've seen this method once before.
It's been on the podcast once before but I can never remember what it is.
So, the exact same thing happened.
Maybe a 1000 episodes ago, I showed how to move rows and someone said, hey, there's a better way.
In episode 1512, I showed how to move rows again and, David, David J. from the UK writes in with a better way, alright.
So, to select the whole row, SHIFT+SPACEBAR.
SHIFT+SPACEBAR selects the whole row.
Hold down SHIFT and just drag the row to the new spot.
You have to hold down SHIFT while you do that.
So, SHIFT+SPACEBAR selects the row, hold down the SHIFT key while you drag the border to a new spot, and you move the whole row.
Great trick.
I want to send a thanks out to David J. for sending that in.
I want to thank your stopping by.
We’ll see you next time for another netcast from MrExcel.
