Large Function returns zero

This is the formula in G15. =SUMIF(G4:G13,">=LARGE(G4:G13,7)",E4:E13)
If I replace the criteria with =SUMIF(G4:G13,">=2.96",E4:E13) everything works.
If I put =LARGE(G4:G13,7) in a separate cell I get back 2.96

I do not know why the sumif cannot evaluate the correct LARGE function.

Need 1 part of a formula to always point to the same range? use $ signs: $V$2:$Z$99 will always point to V2:Z99, even after copying
Try putting it outside the string.
Excel Formula:
=SUMIF(G4:G13,">=" & LARGE(G4:G13,7),E4:E13)
