I'm hoping someone can help me with my laptop. I hooked up an auxilary keyboard to it and now the keys on the laptop don't work correctly. They are giving me the characters at the top of the keys. What did I do to it?

Excel Facts

Return population for a City
If you have a list of cities in A2:A100, use Data, Geography. Then =A2.Population and copy down.
I can't replicate this on my laptop, but years ago (when we had good old DOS) I seem to remember that pressing either control and caps lock or alt control caps lock seemed to lock the caps so you got the punctuations at the top of the top row rather than the numbers. the same combination toggled this off, so that might be worth a try.

Alt Caps Lock worked. But I had to do it on the auxiliary keyboard to make it work. I wonder how I did that without knowing..........?
Thank you everyone.
