landscape - portrait (easy i think)

Hello,

I have a very newbie question for access. I would like to know if it possible to set the default setting for querries to be landscape in 2003 version ?

Do you mean for reports?

If so, just set the orientation (while viewing the report) in File|Page Properties. It should save with the report (though Access 'forgets' sometimes).

yeah i was looking to see if there was a way to make it not forget as i keep having to put it back

To my knowledge the only way to force orientation involves using printer API, and it's rather complicated.

Experiment with the margins, this seems to affect whether or not Access reverts to portrait.

i think ive found a way round it just change the default for the printer. ( there must be a way to do it with out that but i cannot find it.
