Lambda for Regex Extraction

I am looking to create a Lambda in Excel that does the same function the formula =REGEXEXTRACT(cell, regex pattern) does in Google Sheets, with the same input parameters.

How to change case of text in Excel?
Use =UPPER() for upper case, =LOWER() for lower case, and =PROPER() for proper case. PROPER won't capitalize second c in Mccartney

I think regex functions are only available for MS 365 Insider program and not in the regular version of excel.

If you are using 2021 (as per your profile) then you do not have the Lambda function.
