I need to make 100 labels with the same information for placing on a book. The problem is I want to have the first and second line of the label to say the same thing. Below is a sample of what I want to print with the least amount off repeat typing. I am using Avery 5160.

Company Name
2005
Book #1

Next Label:

Company Name
2005
Book #2

Etc.

Anyone got any ideas.

Using a mouse in Excel is the work equivalent of wearing a lanyard when you first get to college
I would make the first label have all the characters common to all labels, then I would copy to the full range to be printed out.
Next, i would add all the unique characters to each cell. And, where more than one cell has the same data, I would simply copy it where needed.

You can set this up as a mail merge.

In Excel, just put a list of company names.

In Word, you'll want to have (going left to right, then down):

First label:
company name field
2005
Book #1

Second label:
company name field
2005
Book #2

Third label:
next record field company name field
2005
Book #1

Fourth label:
company name field
2005
Book #2

Fifth label:
next record field company name field
2005
Book #1

Sixth label:
company name field
2005
Book #2

and so on...
