Keyboard shortcuts doesn't work when the menu bar is not visible
Version: Excel for Office 365 MSO (16.0.10730.20264), 64 bit
I'm an avid user of key-board short cuts. First thing I think of for Save=Ctrl-S, Copy/Paste=Ctrl-C/V, Set filter= Ctrl-Shift-L etc.
So if I want to delete a row or a column I typically click on the row or column heading and then Alt-E,D.
Today I found that that is not working when the menu bar is not visible.
I have one worksheet with a column of material numbers that I need to review in another worksheet.
So I made the lookup list only 1 column wide. I then delete the row for the material number that I reviewed.
And then it gets strange: select row, Alt-E,D and nothing happens. Right-click after the row selection, select option "Delete" does work.
At first I was puzzled, thought I was doing something wrong.
Then I made the worksheet 20 columns wide, so that the menu bar was visible: Alt-E,D does work.
Conclusion: key-board short cuts don't work when the menu bar is not visible.
Question: is this a settings issue, is this just me or is it an known issue?
