I'm trying to figure out how to add 1 + 3 and then keep adding three to the sum?

I am curious how to make that work, I've tried all kinds of formulas and now I just want to know to know.

1+3 = 4 then 4+3 = 7

I want to keep it running..

Excel Facts

Add Bullets to Range
Select range. Press Ctrl+1. On Number tab, choose Custom. Type Alt+7 then space then @ sign (using 7 on numeric keypad)
How? Where? When?
Please explain exactly how you want this to work.
Do you just want to have a number in some certain cell, and run a macro add 3 every time it runs?

That's what I'm trying to figure out

I have 1 in the first cell, and I have 3 in the next cell and it equals 4 and I'm trying to find a way to add 3 to every sum. So 1+3 = 4 .. then 4+3 is 7 .. then 7+3 is 10 .. I was curious if this was possible.

If you have 1 in cell A1, then you could enter this formula in cell B1:
=A1+3

Then, if you copy the formula in cell B1 across row 1, it will increase by 3 each time.

Is that what you are after?
