Hello,

I have an issue with my Excel export.

When I export an Excel file from a data base some cells are converted and I would like to prevent that.
For example in my data base date are written like this: 01/Sep/2015 but when I open my file excel convert it to 01/09/2015
The weird thing is that excel is doing it only for the month of September, for June Excel keep this format: 01/Jun/2015.

I tried to format my cell as DD/MMM/YYYY but Excel change "Sep" to "sept", which is a format I do not want...

Please help :(

Excel Facts

Which came first: VisiCalc or Lotus 1-2-3?
Dan Bricklin and Bob Frankston debuted VisiCalc in 1979 as a Visible Calculator. Lotus 1-2-3 debuted in the early 1980's, from Mitch Kapor.
Use the import wizard and import that column as text.

Edit:

Are you using a Query/Data connection to import the data into excel?
