just like excel

Excel Facts

Can a formula spear through sheets?
Use =SUM(January:December!E7) to sum E7 on all of the sheets from January through December
Microsoft Access can hold a lot more than excel, but this is a database not a spreadsheet. Although possible it is alot harder to do simple calculations in Access.

"Like Excel" is, of course, a subjective term...

You might consider SPSS. Or, you could just wait until the Excel in Office 2007 is released (or, try its beta version).

It depends on what you are doing. Some things are actually easier to do in Access than Excel (like matching).

Like a lot of things, it is easier when you know how. A lot of people find Access harder simply because they are not familiar with it (I know I did at first).

As Oaktree pointed out, Access is a database program, where Excel is a spreadsheet program. So which one will serve you better usually depends on the task at hand (and size of your data).

Hi,
Thanks for the reply. Actually I cant use Access as I have to analyse the huge data in Excel itself....
So no sense of using Access.
I need a analyser which support more no. of columns and rows

Thanks
