Hello,

I would like to join a comment onto the back of an existing comment in a memo field. Simple enough but i would like a carriage return (or line feed) in between the two. (i.e. the new comment starts on a new line)

My query looks a bit like this

[tbl main]![Old Comment] & Chr(13) & [tbl main]![New Comment]

but i just get a little sqaure symbol in between the comments

Is there any other way???

Excel Facts

Which lookup functions find a value equal or greater than the lookup value?
MATCH uses -1 to find larger value (lookup table must be sorted ZA). XLOOKUP uses 1 to find values greater and does not need to be sorted.
Is this expression on a form?

Can't you just have two seperate fields for the 2 comments?
