I was just curious as to what kind of jobs are out there for people who have a lot of experience using Excel and other Microsoft programs, but do not have a degree. And where would be a good place to find these jobs? I, for example, have been using Excel for almost 10 years now, along with other programs like Word and Access, and am in the process of getting my Bachelors in Computer Science, but in the mean time I'm stuck working in a low paying admin assistant position. Whenever I look for jobs using key words pertaining to my experience, all that comes up are either other low paying admin jobs or jobs requiring at least a Bachelors or a Masters degree and 6+ years experience in a specific field. Please help. Any and all suggestions are welcome.

Is there a shortcut key for strikethrough?
Ctrl+S is used for Save. Ctrl+5 is used for Strikethrough. Why Ctrl+5? When you use hashmarks to count |||| is 4, strike through to mean 5.
Know what it's like fella, was in the same boat for years.

I managed to land a job as an information analyst a few years ago, usually starting positions appear to be around £19-20k at the moment.

You often need some knowledge of using and extracting information from databases ,e.g. SQL, Oracle, SAP etc but it's not the end of the world as if your Excel's good enough you can deal with data problems in that.

If you're in the UK try Monster and use Information Analyst or Management Information Analyst as key words.

Good luck.
