Hi Todd,
That is really smoking.
Also of potential interest, this graphics program is pretty built with another high-level language, C# (with a little C++):

Also, if you want to see some insanely good graphics manipulation with VB6, check some of the posts by this person on GDI+ algorithms:

This particular individual does some prettty insane stuff with images and classic VB!
Okay, so when I first got my digital camera, I didn't quite get how to properly use it and was notorius for shooting off pictures with really bad red-eye. Hey, give me a break, I'm a numbers guy.
In any event, I showed that particular person the following picture:
You know what he says? GDI to the rescue! He used a custom VB application that he wrote to render the following:
I played around with red-eye reduction techniques in Adobe Photoshop and Paint.Net and couldn't even come close to the results that he, very quickly, came up with using GDI+ and VB6.
Of course, this kind of talent isn't exactly normal, in my opinion, that's a bit of a freak-show (in a a really good way) and if you play around with GDI+, you'll probably agree...
But yes, for a high-level language, you can do some pretty amazing stuff with VB[A].
Steven Lebans came up with a great technique for coercing an image to a Byte Array in Access, which I turn have used to marshal images from Access to Excel:

That's extremely fast, and slick.
In any event, nice work Mr. Moala!
