So I am having an issue with a rather large excel workbook that grows with more information everyday. I currently have 3 formulas running on 3 different columns and I have about 7 conditional formulas that are running, a few that may over lap. This is causing an issue as it slows down the worksheet, freezes when sorting, and giving a no responsive message at times. These formulas make the job easier along with the conditional format ones as well. I was wondering if i used a Marco instead would that be a better benefit to solving the problem and would it make the size bigger or smaller? I currently save the file in XLSB because it is a growing workbook. If this is a work around I would love some help and guidance on the issue.

Excel Facts

Format cells as date
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+3 to format cells as date. (Shift 3 is the # sign which sort of looks like a small calendar).
after you have used the book, is the conditional format consistent, some times its quicker to delete all in code then replace

I have tried that, as well as, reconstructing everything on a new workbook.

I did mean programatically, so once written it adjusts to your current work, applied only to areas that need it

Well thats just it where i do have it is where they are need at. So that is where i am having the issue at. I need another way to achieve what i am doing other than having some of my condition formatting overlaying each other. I was hoping atleast one or two marcos to do the job of a one or two condition formatting would work
