I keep running into the following problem with sharing an Excel spreadsheet with team members.
I can see their location in the spreadsheet, but after so many days, even though they are still present in the spreadsheet, I can no longer see their location and they cannot see mine. The only way I have found to keep getting around this issue is to save the spreadsheet with a new name, reshare it, and everything works fine, until so many days later and I am right back into the same problem.

Excel Facts

Copy formula down without changing references
If you have =SUM(F2:F49) in F50; type Alt+' in F51 to copy =SUM(F2:F49) to F51, leaving the formula in edit mode. Change SUM to COUNT.
Is their "location" a calculation? Then maybe do a recalc instead. If it's a link then maybe refresh links. Have to say that I have no idea what either of those will do in your situation. I'm not an Excel expert either and am under the impression that Excel does not support multiple concurrent users very well, if at all so I can't see how you're sharing one workbook for several days.

Maybe it's time to consider moving to some sort of database.
