Issue with cutting and pasting excel chart with data table next to chart

I'm having trouble cutting and pasting an excel chart with the table of data next to it. I'm pasting as picture with an expectation to get a result that is exactly what it looks like on the excel sheet. Also, this has not been an issue up until very recently, and the issue follows all excel files so it appears that something has changed in my excel program. I'm using version 16 for mac.
