Hi,

I cant seem to resolve this:

I have made some tables i wish to use in two drop down list with the one list dependent of the choice of the other(indirect formula)
The lists is made by using the offset and antalla fomula to avoid emtpy cells in lists.

My problem is that when i want to make a secondary list dependent from the previuos option using the inderect formula i get an error message(i use norwegian language and cant manage to translate the message but i think its a circular problem) When i push the ok button the drop down symbol appears in the cell ut it dont work.

Anyone who have a solution without using VBA?

Thanks
Magne

What is =ROMAN(40) in Excel?
The Roman numeral for 40 is XL. Bill "MrExcel" Jelen's 40th book was called MrExcel XL.
Without seeing what you have, we could spend the rest of the millenium trying to guess where you have gone wrong.

As a starting point, we would at least need to see the formula used for the second list and the formula used to define the named range that it is referring to in order to check for any potential errors.
