Issue Connecting Slicer to Multiple PivotTables

I have multiple pivot tables that are based on the same source data.

When I create a slicer I would like to link it to multiple Pivot Tables...

The issue is that they do not show up on the list of PivotTable Connections. When I create a slicer for X PivotTable it only lists that one PivotTable available to connect to the slicer. There are no other PivotTables in the list. I have tried:

1. refreshing data...
2. Deleting and re-adding pivot tables
3. Doing the connection via code

None of these work. Why are my slicers not recognizing the other pivot tables?

There was an issue with the pivot table ranges. Excel kept manually changing my selected range to a name ranged that was created when I exported the data from Access rather than the A1:A100000 that I had selected for the other pivot table. Even though both ranges were the exact same dimensions, since they were referenced differently excel did not recognize them correctly.
