I was working in a database on my C: drive and I compacted the database and it deleted a bunch of my records. It did not leave an error field. Is there anything I can do?

Excel Facts

How to total the visible cells?
From the first blank cell below a filtered data set, press Alt+=. Instead of SUM, you will get SUBTOTAL(9,)
You could try importing the data into a new database.

If you could explain further what is wrong then somebody may be able to help.
