here is a list of the keyboard shortcuts for excel:

you can fill up, but it's not a keyboard shortcut. In 2010, goto home, in the editing section (far right), second icon down on the left is fill.

Nice and Simple! I looked for many keyboard shortcuts that did not work for my task, but once I read your post, I knew how to get to the previously unknown to me Fill tool, I was able to use keyboard shortcuts in Excel to get to that tool.
