Thanks to iliace for the answer to my previous question.
I would like find out if there is a simpler or more efficient way to perform the calculations on this excel workbook?
It is based on a card game called back alley bridge and automatically keeps score while you are playing the game with minimal input for bids and bids made.
The scoring calulations are corrrect. I have also corrected the scoring for when someone bids over the number of tricks that they take. i.e. They bid 4 and take 5 tricks. That equals 1 bid over. When that person or team over bids for a total of 10 times 100 points is subtracted from their total score.
The far right section labeled "Team 1 Minus Scoring" & "Team 2 Minus Scoring" is where this calculation takes place. I am very new at this and I know it could probably be done more efficiently.
Could someone offer some insight to this? I am ok if it contains a macro because I use a macro to reset the board scores and inputs.
The excel file is here.
