Hi Everyone,

I create invoices in several currencys and I constantly have to change the formating of column J, K, & N which i can sometimes forget.
however ever company has is currency stated in cell B2 of the sheet.

so is there an easy way to format the cell to show the correct currancy?
i.e. if B2= "Dollar" then format "$" "GBP" then format "£" ?

I know I can d it with VBA but was wondering if there was a excel way as I've loads of these to set up.

any ideas would be apreciated.

Thanks

Tony

Excel Facts

Create a chart in one keystroke
Select the data and press Alt+F1 to insert a default chart. You can change the default chart to any chart type
You could use the TEXT function and a helper column, =TEXT(J1, IF($B$2="dollar","$","£")&"#,##0.00")
