Is there a way to make a checkbox automatically format a row?

I have a sheet where I have a checkbox that is entering TRUE or FALSE into a cell. For some reason I can't seem to get those values to control the conditional formatting for that row based on those text inputs. I have a rule already setup when that cell contains "n". Is there a way I can make "TRUE" act the same as "n"

Fastest way to copy a worksheet?
Hold down the Ctrl key while dragging tab for Sheet1 to the right. Excel will make a copy of the worksheet.
Why not just change the rule to TRUE rather than "n", note do not use quotes in the rule for logical values.

I tried that and it didn't work. What I ended up doing was attaching it to the cell next to it, then making an if statement to insert an "n" in the right cell. I was surprised the condition didn't work on True or False.

What was the rule that you used?, because it does work with true/false.

The rule was if the cell equaled "n" format the line red. I changed the n to true and it didn't work.
I figured out a workaround.

Did you enter TRUE, or "TRUE"?

Hello,

You can also assign your format macro to your checkbox ...

Hope this will help
