Is there a way to hide the extra rows created at the top when you create multiple Groups?

I have a wide accounting spreadsheet where I've grouped Days into Months, Months into Years, etc. Through the last 4 years now it has added 4 additional rows at the top of my spreadsheet representing all of the various groups. Is there a way to hide those and just have 1 row with the + icons? I'm fine clicking the pluses to expand when needed and would rather have the additional landscape by hiding the extra rows there which push my other data down the page. See attached image of my current excel view.
