Help!

We are using autofilter in Excel and we are finding that it is not filtering information we know is present in our long list (over 1350 lines).

Is there a maximum number of lines that can be filtered?

Thank you!

Can you AutoAverage in Excel?
There is a drop-down next to the AutoSum symbol. Open the drop-down to choose AVERAGE, COUNT, MAX, or MIN

Hi,

I believe that there is a limit of 1,000 unique items (prior to Excel97 the limit was lower than this).

EDIT: DK - TDQ!

The only limit on the number of lines that can be filtered is the physical limit of 65,535 (allowing for 1 row of column headers). The 1,000 unique item limit mentioned above only pertains to the number of entries that can be displayed in the AutoFilter drop drown list. The absence of an entry in the drop down list doesn't prevent you from using the Custom drop down list entry and specifying an AutoFilter criteria.
