is it possible to sort all of columns A:AD with data going all the way down row 65000

i am trying to sort on columna then column ad but it seems towork until row 8500 and then stops???? is there a limit in excel to the # of dat fields that can be sorted?????

Excel Facts

Add Bullets to Range
Select range. Press Ctrl+1. On Number tab, choose Custom. Type Alt+7 then space then @ sign (using 7 on numeric keypad)
make sure there aren't any blank rows....the sort function might only grab the first section....

best bet....highlight cols A:AD manually down to the last appropriate row....then start your sort....

see if that works for you
