I am not comfortable with macros, (this week was the first time I've tried one)
I have 31 sheets that I am moving data to on the master sheet.
I finally used $$ to lock the cell and column, so I can drag the formula down, but is there any way I can type something to increment the sheets
ex if('1'!$d$38=0,"",('1!$w$31)) when I drag this down everything is fine except I need the sheet to go from 1 to 31. is this possible with a formula?

Excel Facts

What is the shortcut key for Format Selection?
Ctrl+1 (the number one) will open the Format dialog for whatever is selected.
If your formula starts in row 1 :
=IF(INDIRECT(ROW() & "!$d$38")=0,"",INDIRECT(ROW() & "!$w$31"))

If it does not start in row 1, adjust depending upon the start row.
For example, if it starts in row 2 :
=IF(INDIRECT(ROW()-1 & "!$d$38")=0,"",INDIRECT(ROW()-1 & "!$w$31"))
