I have information in rows, numbers 1-6 in one row, and names in another row. I know I can sort by columns, but I need to sort by rows and keep the integrity of the information below corresponding heading. Example:

1 2 3
John Angie Bert
Ships Picks Ships

I would like to be able to sort by name OR number but still keep the information below (and above) the sorting ROW intact. HELP!

Excel Facts

Show numbers in thousands?
Use a custom number format of #,##0,K. Each comma after the final 0 will divide the displayed number by another thousand
I am not quite sure what you mean, but you can sort Left to Right instead of the normal Top to Bottom. Click Options in the Sort dialog box.

Thanks! That worked, but I also have cells that are different colors (3 different colors are used). How can I sort my spreadsheet from left to right, by color? Thanks
