Is it possible to identify the printer currently connected to my PC?

I have many vba procedures which I've written over the years, several of which include print commands.

I've recently started taking my laptop between offices and using different printers. What is really irritating is having to change the printer selection each time I do so - it's very easy to forget, and find that the application is trying to print to a different printer to the one connected.

Is there any way that Excel can identify the printer currently plugged in to a PC, and automatically set that as the default printer? - or is there any way that one can set Windows 10 to automatically default to the printer that's plugged in?

It seems a fairly obvious thing to want to do, but Googling hasn't given me much hope..
