Thanks in advance for the help here, thrilled to have found this community.
Is Excel Online unable to dynamically sum?
I have a Table (Workforce), with cost projections in each column (e.g. [FY21 Q1]).
On the local version of the Excel doc the Total row Subtotals the column dynamically based on what I have filtered (as I'd expect it to). However, when I upload the doc on Box and collaborate on it using Excel Online (a must given my workplace), the Total row no longer subtotals dynamically based on the filter, it only shows the sum of the unfiltered column. I tried instead or using a Table row to instead use =Subtotal(109,Workforce[FY21 Q1]) instead; however, the same issue persists - the cell only reflects the sum of the unfiltered column.
Does anyone know if Excel Online is simply unable to process this information? Like I said, both ways work on my local version, but don't work on Excel Online.
Thank you much
