ok... so here is something i'd love to do, but i'm not sure if it is possible.
i've been researching the whole "taking control of IE via vba" thing for a while, and i've got a spreadsheet that works well for what i want to do.
now... here is the serious question.
- Is it possible to have Excel capture an IE window and set it as an internal child window?
the reason why i ask is because when Excel opens up IE to do what it needs to do, it opens as a separate task (obviously) and i'd like to be able to work through another instance of IE without it taking focus or possibly mix up data that might be exchanging. i think it would strenghthen the design and layout of my spreadsheet.
any ideas?
