Hi everyone,
sorry I think this must be a really simple thing to sort out but for the life of me I can't seem to figure out how to do it (or word the question accurately enough to get a good response from Google!):
I've got a pretty simple xy scatter graph with two Y-axes. On the primary Y-axis is pH (graphs for a chemistry thesis) and with all of these graphs (I will need to generate hundreds, all with the same set of axes but different data) the minimum and maximum axis values are decimals (eg 2.871 - 11.085) because the axis needs to exactly encompass the data. However, by setting these irregular values for axis minimum and maximum, my major unit tick marks are also decimals (2.9, 3.9, 4.9 etc to 10.9). Is there a way to have decimal values for the minimum and maximum but then set the tick marks from a different value as integers (ie so they'll show up at 3, 4, 5 etc to 11)?
I have found a good potential solution at the link below, but it involves multiple extra steps which is a lot when having to apply to hundreds of plots when it seems as though this should be a feature of excel...?

Thanks for the help
