I have followed the first step 1 and then step 2 at the link below.

It states:

" Here’s how you enable Power Pivot before using it for the first time.

1. Go to File > Options > Add-Ins.

2. In the Manage box, click COM Add-ins> Go.

3. Check the Microsoft Office Power Pivot box, and then click OK. If you have other versions of the Power Pivot add-in installed, those versions are also listed in the COM Add-ins list. Be sure to select the Power Pivot add-in for Excel.

The ribbon now has a Power Pivot tab.
"

However, I see what's in the attached image. This has a tick box for "Power Map", but not for "Power Pivot". Any ideas as to why this is the case? Thanks.

Excel Facts

When did Power Query debut in Excel?
Although it was an add-in in Excel 2010 & Excel 2013, Power Query became a part of Excel in 2016, in Data, Get & Transform Data.
what is you Excel version?
from this picture I see you've 2016 or higher so you have Power Pivot built-in

Thanks sandy666. It's version 2016.

I have a Developer tab, though no Power Pivot tab.

Thanks - when I get to Program Files the only next similar option which I have is Microsoft Office 15, not Microsoft Office followed by Office 16.

When I go into Office 15, I see ClientX64 and v32, I don't see ADDINS.

If I click on FIle followed by Account it states "Microsoft Office Home and Business 2016".

Where is the drop-down located which you have shown?
