Installation Error - AnalysisServices.Wizard

I am trying to install PowerPivot 2010 32-bit on a Win 7 Pro machine. During installation, I get the following error:

"Error writing to file: Microsoft.AnalysisServices.Wizard.v1.dll. Verify that you have access to that directory."

I'm the local administrator on this machine. I am not sure where this directory is. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Go to Program Files - Microsoft Analysis Services - AS Excel Client - 110 check this folder.

hmmm. I do not have such a folder. The closest I found is :

C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Analysis Services\AS OLEDB\10

Yes you could use that folder since you are using a 64bit, however in the Mircosoft analysis services there should be a folder called AS Excel client

I searched my hard drive and there is no such folder. Am I missing some other component?

Probably not. Would need IT for that - its a network image install. I could try a repair I guess. Is there a particular component I should be looking for?

Tried a repair. This did not work. All of the components of Office 2010 are installed.

Have you tried running the setup program as an admin?

Thanks for the suggestions. I just re-installed Office and it works fine now. Go figure...
