Inserting lines to link cells

Hi,

This is not easy to explain so I am going to use a visual aid. I have an excel document similar to the pic. I need to insert the green lines to link the applicable cells. How do I do this? Currently I have "x" in each cell I need to link with the green lines. It is not a graph, it is a normal table. Please assist.
