I have tried inserting JPG pictures into a database for each record, but I cannot get the picture to display. I know that if I insert the path to the picture I can click on it to display the picture, but I would like to have the picture appear when each record is displayed in the form. I know that it will work for BMP files, but I thought that if I used JPG files, it would make the size of the database smaller in the long run.

Thank you for your time,
Matthew

Hi spectraflame

I'm not sure if this is what you looking for but in Mircosoft Access and after you've built your tables and carry them through to forms that when you click on the veiw button to take you into design view that you can add jpg's to each of you records or database... How to do this is get the toolbox to come up if you don't have it checked to use ...click on tools at the top of your screen then chose customize then check the box next to toolbox and the 12th button in is called image and this allows you to input a picture to every record or database...

A little note if you jpg size is big just resize it to fit properly in the database or record ..I learnt this the hard way...hahha..Hope this helps..
