I can not insert a cell in some worksheets in a Workbook. When I right click in a cell to insert a cell the only option available it to insert a Row or Column. Create a new worksheet in same workbook and the option to insert a cell is available. (get pop up asking where to move the cells to make form - Up, Down, Left of Right.

Excel Facts

Secret function! Use =DATEDIF(A2,B2,"Y")&" years"&=DATEDIF(A2,B2,"YM")&" months"&=DATEDIF(A2,B2,"MD")&" days"
Happy to send a workbook with the problem -
It's driving me crazy . . . . .

Is the cell part of a table?

That was it. Had a filter active - when I cleared all filters - able to insert a cell. Makes perfect sense and obvious why.
My sanity has returned.
Thanks
