I have a file that won't allow me to use the insert ribbon to insert a shape into my document. This is an excel file that was created with excel 2007 but was saved under 97-2003 format. Any ideas on how to re-enable this??

Every time I google an Excel question and find that one of the links is to MrExcel, I'll choose that one.
For this dilemma I read through 15-20 solutions to the problem; none of them worked for me.
Then I found the topic on MrExcel. One question, one answer... Voilà!

I agree, that's why I joined the Forum some time ago. Instead of searching Google, I just go directly to the forum and look. If for whatever reason I can't find my solution someone is always is willing to help.
