Insert Note using CTRL+A

How to make CTRL+A work to select all the text? Maybe someone have a macro handy?
 

Excel Facts

Select all contiguous cells
Pressing Ctrl+* (asterisk) will select the "current region" - all contiguous cells in all directions.
You're title says "Insert Note", not "Edit note"
Try Ctrl shift Home
