Insert cell date into a sentence.

I'm trying to put a cell date into a sentence.
But when I do, it isn't in date format.
="Blood Sugar Log From "&H15

Any ideas?

Use the TEXT function to format the date the way you want it to look. For example...

="Blood Sugar Log From "&TEXT(H15,"m/d/yyyy")

use the TEXT() function.

Type the following formula:

="Blood Sugar Log From "&TEXT(H15,Here goes the format)

replace here goes the format with: "mm/dd/yyyy" to get 04/02/2018

you need the double quotes to surround the custom format.

if you have a specific way u want to show the date, you can reply. (eg. if u needed: "Mon, April 2, 2018" etc.)
