When I type in a phone number in a field on a form I want the format to appear e.g. 01204 123456 (i.e. with a space) and also with a Postcode as BL6 5NH (i.e. again with a space)

I've tried to use Input mask in a table to do this, but when I then try and input into the form which is based on the table, it doesn't work.

You can teach Excel a new custom list. Type the list in cells, File, Options, Advanced, Edit Custom Lists, Import, OK
When did you set the input mask?

Was it after you created the form from the table?

If so you will need to either:
  • Recreate the form
  • Edit the form and set the InputMask property of the relevant fields
