I have a feeling the answer will be no, but can i force the entry in an InputBox, just for visual effect, it looks tidier, its a search function, so not interested in the output range format, as there is no output.

Thanks

How to create a cell-sized chart?
Tiny charts, called Sparklines, were added to Excel 2010. Look for Sparklines on the Insert tab.
AFAIK you'd need to build a userform and use a textbox as the imputbox and then you can use the Change event to change to uppercase.

I personally wouldn't bother.
